Hello all,

I had a haircut this morning, so I thought I would take some photos this afternoon, and then I decided to keep powering on and Photoshop them too.  If you look at my website, all the photos are recent now, and if you look at my home page, I have some recent songs that will blow your mind :)

So if you are bored, have a look.

I shall be updating this website over the next week and a half.

My self-imposed deadline is 7th of March 2012.  To synchronize with the Nile Rodgers and Chic concert in Melbourne, Australia – whom I am a huge fan of.  A musical welcome to Australia and Melbourne.

I was going to update my website at the end of March, but I just spontaneously decided this evening that I will update it over the next week or 2 :)

Am going to be busy taking some new self portraits, as current photos are totally out of date, I look nothing like that anymore.

Will take me a bit longer to complete the video clips, but they should be online by 7 March :)  If I work really hard editing them and memorizing the lyrics, etc.  I am pretty fast with my video editing.

So hold onto your hat and prepare for a HUGE QUANTUM leap in MUSIC and overall WEBSITE from me :)

Well, this week has been eventful.  I slipped over in some boots and bruised my shin, got some tooth floss stuck between my teeth after eating some corn on the cob and ….. finally got my mastering to beautifully complement my song mixing.  Am very happy with it, I tried to bring out the vocals tastefully without destroying the clarity and EQ of the mix.

It took me ages to get it right, but it survived a drive through the countryside on my CD player, and I compared it to the mastering on the radio, and it compared well, so Yay!!!!! I finally got it right.  Took me a few weeks of fiddling with buttons and tailoring my own settings until I got it right.

I found that my music kind of seems to make me feel sleepy when I listen to a whole CD full of my songs, I needed to stop and have some coffee as the road was very winding and I didn’t want to fall asleep :)

Recording some more new vocal tracks with new microphone this weekend and re-doing some keyboard also, am working backwards and filling in gaps with guitar, keyboards, percussion, etc.  It is slow but I am glad I am being patient and persisting with it to get the sound as a whole to the next level.

I will update this website totally in late March, and post a few sample songs so you can hear what I have been up to.
