Back to work on music for me, full steam ahead! toot toot :)
Hello all,
Well I should have a refreshed website by early March with crisp vocals from new microphone.
Just drew up a schedule to re-record and re-mix/master most of my recent songs over the next few months.
Feeling refreshed after the holidays, and I have joined Weight Watchers to drop some excess kilos that I was hiding behind as a security blanket. This week I lost 2.1kgs :) Quite a few more months to go until I emerge as the real me though. So far, so good.
I am aiming to refresh my website in March initially, and then June again. Stay tuned, and you will actually be able to hear every word of my lyrics on my crisp new microphone. It has made a phenomenal difference to the overall sound.
I was kind of wondering why no one commented on my lyrics, as I treat them like poetry and worry over every word….. it is only recently with the new microphone that everyone I play new version of song to says it is the first time they have actually heard the lyrics and my real voice :) I am glad I found that out from my visit to the USA, thanks to a constructive chat with my music lawyer there and Ronan Chris Murphy for his vocal recording workshop who made me realize what I was doing wrong.
So hold onto your hat, and it is full steam ahead into 2012! toot toot :)
